Overview

As the head of our Regulatory Affairs function, you will serve as the lead advisor and liaison for all Company matters and interactions associated with the Rhode Island state regulatory agencies. The role will direct coordination and communication of state regulatory activities with the Company to maintain and strengthen regulatory relationships, ensure regulators receive current and accurate information, and to facilitate resolution of regulatory issues. The role will also provide content development and thought leadership to advance Rhode Island Energy’s strategic objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Finance / Business / Accounting / Engineering / Public Policy / Planning / Environmental Studies or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government or regulatory environment required.
  • 10 years experience with industry and/or government in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of state regulatory functions and processes and/or utility operations preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge, professional experience and deep understanding of issues impacting the energy industry preferred.
