RETAIL MARKETS COMMITTEE

The mission of the retail markets committee is to educate the Board, membership, and interested stakeholders on commercial and regulatory developments in the competitive retail electric and gas markets across New England and the Northeast. Although competitive retail energy markets have been active for nearly two decades, the growth in retail switching and competitive retail activity, continued expansion into new retail products (such as renewable and time of use products), new valued added services, and rapid change in regulatory and competitive challenges all merit examination and discussion from a dedicated separate committee. The committee welcomes participation and involvement from any and all NECA members with an interest in retail energy markets.
