Vandan Divatia is the Vice President of Transmission, Policy & Compliance at Eversource – the #1 energy efficiency provider in the nation that transmits and delivers electricity and natural gas and supplies water to approximately 4 million customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. As New England’s largest utility, Eversource is a dedicated steward for the environment and is committed to bringing more clean, affordable and sustainable energy to the region. Over a period of 17 years in the industry, Vandan has held various positions in Operations, Economic Planning, Business Development, Strategy and Compliance.

He has lead evaluation of numerous renewable energy projects from a reliability, economic and environmental perspective. In his current role, Vandan oversees Transmission Generator Interconnections including negotiation of commercial agreements. Vandan’s current focus also includes shaping policy and strategy that enables the “Grid of the Future” to be designed, constructed and operated reliably and cost effectively. Vandan graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters in Power systems and a Strategy and Innovation program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
