Overview
Michaud Law Group LLC, based in Middletown, CT, is in search of a Policy and Program Analyst (Northeast States) with a minimum of three years of experience. We are seeking an individual with expertise in current and evolving state policies and project incentive programs that promote the advancement and adoption of renewable and clean energy technologies, particularly large solar, microgrid, and battery energy storage systems. Job Responsibilities
- Program Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and have working knowledge of state-specific renewable and clean energy project incentive programs.
- Policy Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on current and anticipated renewable energy policies, regulations, project incentives, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and market trends at the state and regional level.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on new and pending dockets at state regulatory agencies, analyzing their potential impacts on client-proposed renewable and clean energy projects.
- Economic Impact Assessment: Analyze the economic implications of existing and proposed renewable and clean energy policies and programs and provide data-driven insights for client decision-making.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports, policy briefs, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the firm’s attorneys and its clients.
Job Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as public policy, law, environmental science, energy management, economics, or a related field is required.
- Analytical Skills: The role demands robust analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to decipher intricate data, policy, and program documents.
- Communication Skills: Your excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for effectively communicating findings with the firm’s attorneys and clients.
