As a Sustainability Business Developer, you will be responsible for developing a robust pipeline of opportunities with existing assigned strategic accounts and prospective new accounts to exceed sales quota targets. The right candidate has a passion for helping customers solve their sustainability needs and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to help build this new business.

 

 “Gauges” of Responsibility:
  • Proactively sell environmental products and services to prospects and provide critical feedback to what is valued and what changes Global must adopt to be relevant and unique
  • Prospect and identify new leads and opportunities
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with current customers
  • Lead on-site and off-site sales presentations to potential customers
  • Maximize margins while meeting sales goals
  • Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary
  • Seek and share knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc.
  • Provide sales/status updates to leadership and forecast quarterly/annual performance
  • Introduce Global products and service opportunities outside of environmental products
  • Cold calling qualified leads
  • Input/discovery for determining customer spot price segmentation
  • Call existing customers to introduce new products and services
  • Attend relevant industry conferences & events
  • Track environmental market and sustainability trends to generate insights and opportunities
  • Understand compliance and voluntary market requirements for environmental attributes
  • Performs other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued from leaders as required
