ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE

The Environmental Committee follows federal and state environmental regulatory developments and advances in pollution control technology. Its mission is to inform the Board of Directors and members of environmental developments that may impact the energy industry. Most recently the committee has been tracking the implications of new Environmental Justice requirements and regulations that require cumulative impact analyses (CIA) for air quality permitting. The Committee hosts an annual conference, which most recently was a day-long Environment 101 with industry professionals presenting on current environmental topics, regulatory requirements impacting energy projects in the New England Region and relevant case studies.  Committee members are actively involved with regulatory workgroups in several states.
