DESCRIPTION & DETAILS
Build customer relationships in the commercial and industrial space;
Identify and quantify end energy uses and energy reduction opportunities;
Analyze, interpret, or create graphical representations of energy data;
Utilize energy data collection equipment and related software;
Review architectural, mechanical, or electrical plans or specifications to evaluate energy efficiency opportunities;
Identify and recommend energy savings strategies;
Train client’s personnel on topics such as energy management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering;
5-10 years’ experience working with energy use systems and energy reduction;
Willingness to travel (in and out of state, and potentially worldwide);
Work well independently as well as part of a team;
Be motivated to create and perform high quality work;
Possess the ability to multi-task;
Capable of effectively performing in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously meeting assigned project deadlines;
Self-directed with decision-making confidence.
Preferred Skills/Credentials:
Experience in industrial manufacturing or similar, complex segment;
Masters in Engineering and/or Professional Engineer (PE);
MBA;
Certified Energy Manager (CEM);
Ability to perform energy system commissioning (Cx) or retro-commissioning (RCx);
Experience with building modeling (eQuest, Trane Trace, etc.)
Greenhouse Gas reporting experience;
Lean manufacturing experience.
The right candidate will be self- driven, self-motivated, and have great communication skills both written and verbal. For the right candidate, the position can be based in CT, MA, or RI. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without Sponsorship.
