Position Specific Description

Strong preference for candidates in the Philadelphia/Valley Forge Area.

This individual will be tasked with advocating, monitoring, and reporting in support of business initiatives at PJM; active engagement in ISO/RTO and industry working groups to influence favorable outcomes for business, including market compensation mechanisms, transmission planning and interconnection; assisting renewable and transmission development with competitive solicitations and regulatory filings; strong preference to candidates with experience attending PJM stakeholder meetings.

Job Overview

Employees in this role directly support management and development through representation of our company’s interests in regulatory bodies, regional transmission and planning organizations and legislatures and members of the executive branch of state governments in the United States and provinces in Canada.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participates in stakeholder processes, regulatory bodies, and/or regional organizations
  • Lobbies legislatures
  • Formulates company strategies internally for communication in the marketplace
  • Completes long-range strategic planning
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience: 10+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s – Business Administration
